Regarding Harry's subconscious feelings, how [have they] changed from book one to book five?

J.K. Rowling: Well he's obviously been through a lot since book one and book five was the book when he cracked up a little. In book six, the wizarding world is really at war again and he has to master his own feelings to make himself useful.

Are the Muggle and Magical worlds ever going to be rejoined?

J.K. Rowling: No, the breach was final, although as book six shows, the Muggles are noticing more and more odd happenings now that Voldemort's back.
